International Conference on Recent Advances in Materials and Manufacturing focuses on the development of novel materials, their characterization techniques, and the latest trends in manufacturing methods. It showcases the commitment of our institute to motivate research culture among various disciplines in particular material science and manufacturing. Scope of ICRAMM 2022 (Fourth edition)
The 2022 Fourth International Conference on Recent Advances in Materials and Manufacturing (ICRAMM 2022) aims for a great gathering of both industrial and academic professionals across the world in the fields of materials science and manufacturing technology. It provides a major forum for the exchange of information among practicing professionals in the areas of Materials and Manufacturing. The fourth edition of ICRAMM (2022) is organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Velalar College of Engineering and Technology, Erode, Tamil Nadu, India during 08 – 09, December 2022. Erode is well connected by the road and rail with the Indian cities and by air with the international destinations. ICRAMM 2022 is dedicated to bringing up substantial discussions on major sectors of advanced materials processing, characterization techniques, modeling & simulation, material properties, performance and device fabrication. ICRAMM 2022 provides a platform to the research scholars, faculty, scientists and industry professionals to share their research findings, solutions to the domain problems and their valuable experience. The conference will feature keynote and plenary lectures from eminent personalities of IITs, NITs, R&D organizations and other reputed institutes in India and across the world.
Publications of the proceedings
Proceedings of the ICRAMM 2022 (Fourth edition) will be published in the Elsevier’s Materials Today Proceedings. All the accepted and registered papers of the previous editions, ICRAMM 2019, 2020 & 2021 have been published in Elsevier’s Materials Today Proceedings, a new journal specializing in the publication of conference proceedings. Materials Today Proceedings is indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and Inspec.

How to submit a manuscript?
Perspective authors shall submit the full length manuscripts to icramm2022@gmail.com. Authors will receive notification from the conference once the manuscript has been reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. The committee accepts only full length papers for review not the abstracts.
Organizing Institute
ICRAMM 2022 is organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Velalar College of Engineering and Technology, Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. VCET is a self-financing coeducational institution established in the year 2001 with all the necessary infrastructural facilities provided through the vision of Vellalar Educational Trust that ably governs the institution. The College is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. Five programmes viz., BME, CSE, ECE, EEE and IT are accredited by NBA. UGC conferred Autonomous status to VCET in the year 2016. The institution has completed nineteen years of dedicated, excellent service in the field of technical education. This institution offers 7 UG & 6 PG programmes and the departments of CSE, ECE, EEE, Management studies, Physics, and Chemistry are recognized research centers of AU. The college has signed Memorandum of Understanding with many leading corporate and multi-national companies to enable the faculty and students to gain practical knowledge and exposure to industrial environments.
